Antonijev rov je bil izkopan leta 1500 in je nastarejši ohranjeni vhod v rudnik v Evropi. Danes se po Antonijevem rovu obiskovalci podate v podzemni svet drugega največjega rudnika živega srebra na svetu.

Vodnik vas popelje skozi podzemni svet do skritih kotičkov z dragoceno cinabaritno rudo in kapljicami samorodnega živega srebra ter do edinstvene podzemne kapele. Pidite in doživite 240 milijonov let geološke preteklosti in mogoče ujamete tudi škrata Perkmandlc. Ali ga najdete na kateri izmed fotografij?

An amazing experience in Idrija is a visit to the second largest mercury mine in the world! Discover the mysterious underground world of Anthony’s Main Road – you just might catch a glimpse of the pit elf – Perkmandlc.

Antony’s ROV was excavated in 1500 and is an elderly preserved entrance to the mine in Europe. Today, Antony’s tunnel is visitors’ entrance to the underground world of the second largest mercury mine in the world.

The guide takes you through the underground world to hidden corners with a valuable mercury ore and drops of self-worth mercury and to the unique underground chapel.
