ZOO Novosibirsk

The Novosibirsk Zoo is a scientific institution as well as a popular tourist attraction. The zoo has around 11,000 animals representing 738 species and is an active participant in thirty-two different captive breeding programmes for endangered species.

When planning your route around the zoo, don’t miss liger, the mix of tiger and lion exclusive to Novosibirsk Zoo, the snow leopard, the only cat that lives in the snow regions and also one of the least represented species in nature, and, of course, white bears: they are very playful and always super fun to watch.

The zoo is especially beautiful in autumn because of the fascinating yellow and red trees.
