Overview
The Valbione basin is certainly among the most popular destinations of the Wooden bridge area on the slopes of Adamello Park. The old pasture, of which there are some nice cabins, is now largely occupied by buildings and service facilities of the ski slopes and the beautiful golf course, that alone is worth a visit.
We can access lake Valbione by walking the path from the departure area of the gondola Ponte di Legno. The clear signals will guide you, and in about 45 minutes we reach the fantastic lake. The path is for the whole family because since it mostly goes through the forest. You have the ability to stop on comfortable benches along the way.
Once at the lake Valbione there is the possibility of recreation for both small to large with fishing in the pond in the park near the Golf and the refuge hut Valbione. Here you can taste excellent dishes or make a barbecue in the picnic area present at the arrival of the chairlift.
Around the lake there are also various games for children and open spaces for sunbathing. There is also a nice children playground next to the lake, where kids can have their fun. The view that opens, surprising both summer and winter. The valley gives us the waterfalls freeze and become an important training ground for climbers. The wall is very impressive and often offers beautiful and plenty of ice. Since the arrival of the chairlift the waterfall is already visible in the valley and can be reached by taking the path that starts on the right near a group of houses.
The whole area is also a paradise for bikers who have guided trails and a downhill park.
