Open air children playground at Park Safet Zajko

U kompleksu nekadašnje kasarne „Safet Zajko“ otvoren je Centar za edukaciju, sport i rekreaciju, namijenjen cijeloj porodici, penzionerima, sportistima i rekreativcima.

Centar je smješten u središtu Novog Grada, udaljen pet minuta od tramvajskog i autobuskog saobraćaja. Povezan je s gradom pješačkim stazama i mostom izgrađenim u Nedžarićima, biciklističkim stazama i nedavno obnovljenom saobraćajnicom, pa građani do Centra mogu doći pješke, biciklom i automobilom. Ipak, centar će biti zatvoren za vozila, ograđen, čuvan i zatvoren noću, kako bi se zaštitio od oštećivanja.

U centralnom dijelu Centra su fontana, šadrvan i ljetna pozornica namijenjena za kulturno-zabavne manifestacije, oko koje će biti postavljene ljetne bašte za posjetioce, a u blizini se nalazi prostor za fitnes na otvorenom. Ispunjen je zelenilom,  šetnicama i klupama za sjedenje.

Park sadrži atletsku stazu, fudbalski teren sa vještačkom travom, teren za skok udalj, košarkaški teren, svlačionice, dječija igrališta i teren za odbojku na pijesku.

Cijeli park ima besplatan bežični internet.

In the complex of former “Safet Zajko” barracks, the Center for Education, Sports and Recreation has been opened for the whole family, pensioners, athletes and recreants.

The center is located in the center of New Town, five minutes away from tram and bus. It is connected to the town by foot trails and bridge built in Nedžarići, bicycle trails and recently restored motorway, so citizens can reach the center by foot, by bicycle and by car. However, the center will be closed for vehicles, enclosed, guarded and closed at night, to protect against damage.

In the central part of the Center are a fountain, a horseshoe and a summer stage for cultural and entertainment events, around which a summer garden will be set up for visitors, and there is an outdoor fitness center nearby. Filled with greenery, walkways and seating areas.

The park features an athletic trail, a football field with artificial grass, a ski jump, a basketball court, a dressing room, a children’s playground and a beach volley court.

The whole park has free wireless internet.
