Do you remember that little creature, spoiled, jealous, vindictive and inquisitive, but helpful and kind to Peter Pan? Yes, that’s right! That’s Tinker Bell. Are you wondering how to find and catch your own Tinker Bell? Let me tell you a secret how to bring her from fairy tale.
#1 What you need
Find a glass jar, we suggest volume of 1 litre. You will need glass paints, brushes, universal glue, printer, thicker paper (black), metal wire, LED lights (130 cm, 10 lights), and pliers. For decoration you can use glitter dust, gift ribbon or colored strips.

#2 Pick a glass colors
It’s totally up to you when it comes to color selection. In this case we were using yellow, orange, and red color. You can play with blending colors. We suggest to keep front side of lantern in lighter colors.

#3 Add glitter dust
Glass colors are sticky so you can sprinkle glitter dust all over. In this case we used green glitter dust mostly at the back side and on the side.

At front we placed a line of glue and sprinkle it with white glitter dust.

#4 Print out your Tinker Bell
Brows on the net for desired image of Tinker Bell. If you have bigger jar, you can use standing image. In case of smaller jars you can find sitting image of Tinker Bell. Cut it out.

#5 Outline your Tinker Bell
Use thicker black paper or glue 2 pieces of black paper together. You can also use cardboard and color it in black. Cut it out.

#6 Make metal wire stand
You will need easily flexible metal wire. Form a circle at the bottom so that will stand. Tape your Tinker Bell to the wire.

#7 Insert colorful strips
Find some colorful strips and lay them on the bottom.

#8 Insert Tinker Bell & LED lights
It’s time to catch your Tinker Bell and hide it into the jar. To make your fairy tale come true insert LED lights (length of 130 cm, 10 lights).

#9 Make a handle
You can use the same metal wire as you used it to make a stand for Tinker Bell. At one side of the wire create a small loop by using pliers. The rest of the wire wrap around the jar and through the loop. The remaining wire will become a handle. Use the pliers to hook the loose end of wire around the wrapped wire. You can find on the net different ways how to make a jar handle.

Enjoy your evening moments with your dearest ones.

HAPPY RECYCLING!
